OpenStack - The Infrastructure Layer

We use Chef to automatically turn hardware servers into an OpenStack cloud. OpenStack - the Open Source answer to Amazon Web Services - takes a number of servers and offers an API to create and manage virtual machines, virtual networks, plus block and object storage.

OpenStack was a natural fit for anynines as it is an Open Source project. Its rapid growing popularity makes OpenStack to an upcoming industry standard for on-premise infrastructures. Being Open Source also means to deliver the transparency you as a customer deserve. Anynines currently uses the OpenStack Havana release. Feel free to have a closer look at its source code.
