3. Use of Web Analytic Services

The following web analytic services are used to improve the user experience of our Websites.

  1. Google Analytics: We use Google Analytics to track the visitors of our website and landing pages. This assumes the usage of browser cookies. For more information on Google Analytics please refer to their disclaimer.
  2. Optimizely: We are running some A/B tests on our website with Optimizely. For more information, visit Optimizely's website.
  3. a9s-keymetrics: This is an internally developed application we use to analyse user behaviour. This tool collects information about the count of registered users and organizations and app deployments running on the anynines PaaS. In addition to that it collects data about successful and failed deployments. The results are used to improve our documentation and user support. None of the user interactions or data is passed on to any third party.
  4. Zendesk (only support): The email address of a customer seeking support is passed on to Zendesk to allow a single sign-on. For more information on Zendesk please refer to the official
  5. Zendesk homepage including their privacy policy.
  6. Billing: Our billing suite collects organizations’ usage data (app usage, service usage) from the anynines API and creates invoices from the collected data. No content data is gathered during this process.
  7. Bug tracking/Development tools: As our team uses Kanban to manage taks we utilize the Kanbanery SaaS offering. To keep track of notes we use Evernote. We don’t save any personal or content data of our customers to these tools to ensure data privacy.
  8. We use Hotjar to optimize our page for a better User Experience. You can opt-out of tracking by Hotjar here: Hotjar opt-out and can learn about Hotjar’s ability to use and share information through the Hotjar Terms & Conditions of Use, and the Hotjar Privacy Policy.

Which basically means...

We are using a couple of external tools that help us make anynines a better product and we hope you're okay with that.

4. Information

Upon request, anynines shall provide you with the information on the stored personal data relating to your person, free of charge and without delay. The information can be provided electronically, if desired. In applicable cases we are obliged, upon request, to correct, block or delete the personal data stored about you.

Which basically means...

You can ask us to provide you with data we have about you.

5. Cookies

The Website and Landing Pages use Cookies to track the visitors. Furthermore, the anynines customerportal uses cookies to store session ID’s. These ID’s are used to assign requests to a particular anynines user.

Which basically means...

We use cookies in your browser to know who you are and we hope you're okay with that too.

6. Log Files

anynines uses log files. This information may include Internet Protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, platform type, date/time stamp, and number of clicks to analyze trends, administer the site, track user behavior in the aggregate, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. However, none of the information stored to our log files, including but not limited to IP addresses, is linked to personally identifiable information.

The logfiles of the previously mentioned a9s-keymetrics app saves user email addresses. The logfiles of this application are not saved permanently. No data will be passed over to third parties.

Which basically means...

We have to store some information in our server logs for security.

7. Right of Access, Correction, and Cancellation

You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and information associated with your account that you desire to remain confidential. You also agree that you are responsible for any and all activities that may take place, or occur under your credentials and account.

Which basically means...

You are responsible for keeping your passwords safe.

8. Data Protection

  • We encrypt user passwords so nobody else can read them.
  • We use SSL encryption to protect user interactions (push, scale, customerpanel, ...) from unauthorized reads.
  • All non-trivial fields in our databases are encrypted. Email addresses are stored in the CC unencrypted, but the CC is secured by a user auth and role system. No user can access other users' email addresses outside of his/her own organisation.
  • The anynines API uses asynchronous encryption tokens for user authorization.

Which basically means...

We encrypt all critical user data coming to and from us to make sure you're safe.
